2022/23 Certificates Ready for Collection – KNEC Announcement

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has stated that certificates for exams taken in 2022 and 2023 are now available for collection. The certificates have been sent to the schools where the candidates took their exams.

KNEC has confirmed that certificates for the following examinations are available:

  • 2022 KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education)
  • 2022 and 2023 DTE (Diploma in Teacher Education)
  • 2022 and 2023 DSNE (Diploma in Special Needs Education)
  • 2022 and 2023 ECDE (Early Childhood Development Education)
  • 2022 and 2023 PTE (Primary Teacher Examination)
  • UDPTE (Upgrade Programme for Diploma in Primary Teacher Education)
  • UDECTE (Upgrade Programme for Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education)

Collection Process

Candidates are encouraged to pick up their certificates from the schools where they sat for their exams. KNEC extends its congratulations to all candidates. Requests them to collect their certificates

Query Submission

For any certificate related inquiries, KNEC advises candidates to raise their concerns through the Query Management Information System (QMIS) here: https://qmis.knec.ac.ke. Queries should be submitted within 30 days of certificate release. Will involve a fee of Sh 5,000. Payment can be made using a Pay bill number provided by QMIS upon verification.
