Joyful Celebrations as Irondi Secondary School Receives Fully Furnished Dormitory

In a rather celebratory unfolding, students at Irondi Mixed Secondary School in Kisii received with immense jubilation and appreciation upon the inauguration of the newly furnished dormitory. This was one of the many unique celebrations that clearly demonstrated community and government involvement in education facilities.

This was the moment Nyaribari Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda, the mastermind behind the dormitory renovation, visited the school. Barely did he appear than he was mobbed by pupils, more so the girls who benefited from the newly furnished dorm.

The event culminated when one of the students did some sort of extempore celebratory act. In a burst of enthusiasm, a robust and full-of-life girl lifted MP Zaheer Jhanda off the ground to really symbolize collective joy and gestures of gratitude in their act, which was very much featured on social media through capturing in pictures and videos, eliciting admiration and praise from everybody.

The incident elicited many reactions on social media, among them several users appreciating the effort put in by the MP and rather unique expression of overjoyed students. These ranged from admiration for the strength of the student to accolades in regard to the efforts being made by the MP in upgrading facilities in local schools.
