Our education system is currently transitioning from the old 8-4-4 to the now popularly called CBC education system. And while there are quite a number of hiccups that both students and teachers a like face, the education ministry has since been steadfast in providing relevant resources or giving guidance on the books that parents should look for the Junior Secondary School as it continues to be adopted.
According to the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), junior secondary students will study 14 subjects, with Mathematics and English being compulsory. Additionally, the KICD has provided a list of recommended course books for these subjects.
