Girls’ Rugby: Semi-Final Action Went Down to the Wire
In girls’ rugby, Nyagichenche and St Anne’s Nyangoge secured berths in the final. Nyangoge edged arch-rivals Rianyanchabera 10-5 in a hotly contested semi-final match. Nyagichenche defeated Hema Chitago 5-0 to sneak into the final.

In netball, Kereri Girls booked a place in the semis after edging defending champions St Peter’s Keberesi 39-35 in a nail-biter. They will play St Vincent Omwari, who dismissed Ibacho 41-25. Ayora defeated Amaiko 39-23 and will confront Itumbe Mixed, who bested Mariwa 29-25, in the other semi-final.
3×3 Basketball: Repeat of Last Year’s Final
In the girls’ 3×3 basketball, Kereri Girls and St Angela’s Sengera booked their places for the Nyanza regional championships following their wins in the semi-finals. Kereri Girls showed too much power over Igorera, whipping them 10-2, while St Angela’s Sengera struggled to emerge 13-9 victors over Sameta Mixed. The final features the same contestants as last year’s duel.
