KNEC invites teachers to apply for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, examiner training slated to run from 18th August to 24th August, 2024. The training will be pegged at a fee of Sh10,500, payable by the shortlisted applicants who will be sent the mode of payment via SMS and the portal.
Eligibility Criteria
KNEC has outlined specific requirements for eligibility, as follows:
- Practicing teacher in the relevant subject areas at the examination level.
- Registered and/or employed by TSC
- Diploma in education or higher
- At least three years teaching experience
- Not interdicted/ddisciplinary action by TSC
- With a recommendation from the head of their institution
- 50 years of age or below
Training Details
The training slots are few and will be offered to qualified applicants who submit all the requisite documents. The venue for the training will be communicated later, and this shall be purely residential. Tutors already trained as KCSE examiners and registered in the KNEC database need not apply.
Application Procedure
The applicants shall apply through the portal at KNEC Examiners Portal. If one has a CP2 account, log in using your username and password reset in case one had forgotten using mobile number in the format: 2547*.
If one does not have a CP2 account, an individual should create an account, following the instructions to get log-in credentials, fill out personal profile and apply for training by selecting from the available vacancies on the dashboard.
