KNUT Nakuru Branch Calls for Improved Healthcare Services for Teachers

The Kenya National Union of Teachers, Nakuru County branch, has challenged Minet Health Care Plan to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services in the interiors of the county so that teachers may perform their duties effectively.

Advocacy for Enhanced Healthcare Services

In the recent signing of the MOU occasion between Nakuru County Government and Minet Health Care Plan, branch Executive Secretary Anthony Geoche highlighted a number of challenges teachers face with the current scheme. Geoche did not go into detail on the issues but emphasized that quality health services were a must for teachers considering the crucial role teachers play generally.

“Teachers are noble people in our society; they deserve quality health services. We call upon Minet Health Care Plan to ensure that they offer good services to our teachers,” Geoche added.
