KUCCPS Opens Application Portal for September 2024 TVET Intake

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its application portal for the September 2024 intake into public TVET institutions. The opportunity is open to all persons who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations from 2000 to 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum grade required in KCSE for applying for a diploma program is C-. For a craft certificate, a mean grade of D is required while an artisan certificate requires a mean grade of E.

Application Process

Interested applicants are required to log onto the KUCCPS student portal: students.kuccps.net. After logging in, they will be required to provide their KCSE index number, the year they sat for the exam, and their index number.

Upon logging in, candidates are required to::

  1. Click on the “Programmes” tab to view available courses and their requirements.
  2. Enter the program codes of courses they are interested in taking.
  3. Click on the “Application/Revision” tab to complete the process.

Finally, an application fee of KSh1,500 is required of the applicants. Upon logging onto the portal, payment instructions will be provided. An applicant finally submits his/her application by entering the Payment Reference Number in the provided field after making the payment.
