Mombasa Schools Gearing Up for KSSSA Term Two Ball Games

Overview

Secondary schools from Mombasa will clash in the KSSSA Term Two Ball Games, County level an event that is scheduled to take place between 22nd to 24th June. Games to be played will include football, volleyball, netball, rugby 7s, 3 on 3 Basket, and Racquet games.

Serani Boys Secondary School

Serani Boys Secondary School has been the powerhouse in boys’ football having emerged champions for the last three years in a row. They were led to the title by their coach Swale Abdalla, popularly known as ‘Coach Sunda’ as they beat Changamwe Secondary School with a 3-0 score in the final. They are yet again hoping to make it a winning streak in this year’s competition.
Bomu Secondary School

Bomu Secondary School

Bomu Secondary School won the title in girls’ football last year after beating Kaa Chonjo 1-0 in the finals. They are preparing to defend the title in this year’s competition.

Anticipated Competitions

The KSSSA Term two Ball games later this month are going to be really competitive with different schools flocking from different corners in Mombasa County. The game is thus going to present a show ground for different talents in different sports disciplines in the schools. They will also present a skill development exercise mirroring teamwork spirits as well as sportsmanship among the students from different schools participating in the events.
