Narok County Governor Commissions Modern Laboratory at Loita Girls School

On Saturday, July 20, Narok County Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu inaugurated a state-of-the-art laboratory at Loita Girls in Narok South Sub-County. The new facility will enhance science education at the school following its construction by the County Government.

During the commissioning ceremony, Gov. Ntutu appealed to parents to take their daughters to Loita Girls in order to meet the 100 percent admissions directed by President William Ruto. He underscored the need for a new laboratory to assist students, particularly in science subjects.

“Laboratories bridge the wide gap between theory and practice and equip learners with hands-on problem-solving skills, enhance their interpersonal abilities. That is why, as county government, we are committed to ensuring our schools have modern laboratories,” he said.

The governor also noted that with this new lab, Loita Girls’ students will no longer move to Loita High School in Entasekera for their science practicals. This development is likely to become very important in the students’ learning and academic output.
