Everything is ready for the Shinyalu Education Day which is happening on Friday, May 31 under the leadership of Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.
Fred Ikana, the Shinyalu MP, said the mega-event will take place at St. Agnes Shibuye Girls High School. Nyoro will be the main guest at the event, which aims to honor schools from the Constituency for their improved results in national tests. Ikana outlined plans to boost academic performance and also celebrate the achievements made this year.
Ikana said he chose Nyoro because of his strong record in Kiharu’s development, especially in education. He spoke about the progress in constructing storey learning blocks at more than ten primary schools, along with extensive renovation work happening in many other learning places. The education day event will showcase the newly completed modern classrooms at St. Albert’s Shanjero Primary School.
Over 10,000 students have received education bursaries from Shinyalu NG-CDF, the highest number in the constituency. “Our key goal is to empower the next generation with education, and this will help end poverty cycles within their families and communities,” he added.
The MP shared that St Monica Lubao is the second school chosen for a bus, fully bought by Shinyalu NG-CDF. The first one was Lugala Secondary.
