TSC Conducts Assessment to Identify Primary Teachers with Diplomas and Degrees for JSS and Secondary School Posting

The TSC is currently auditing the number of primary school teachers holding Diploma and Bachelor’s degrees with a view of possible posting to Junior Secondary Schools and secondary schools. It also wants to establish those eligible teachers who will fill the gap left by teachers set to retire from the TSC payroll on July 1, 2024.

Assessment Details

In a memo signed by Dr. Mugwuku Nthamburi, the Director for Teacher Professional Management at TSC, and addressed to all regional and county directors of education, the commission wants the data regarding teachers with higher academic qualifications submitted by July 11, 2024. The memo is referenced as TSC/DTPM/CDS/40/VOL.II/115 and contains information on the particulars that will be needed.
