The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has provided clear timeframes for when teachers can carry out the Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD) activities during Term Two. Teachers were instructed to submit their professional documents by the close of the first week of term 2, which was last week.
In the period starting from week two to week ten of term 2, TSC has instructed that teachers carry out lesson observations which essentially involve identification and documentation in their professional gaps. Alongside other activities, teachers’ professional development will be conducted during the second term, starting from the first week and continuing till the last week of this term.

- Internal monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of TPAD process
- Observing how TPAD process gets applied at zonal, sub-county and county levels by curriculum support officers, sub –county directors to county directors.
- Additionally, the TPAD data and evidence uploading will happen in the course of the term.
- And the TPAD rating meetings will be completed by the closing date of term.
TSC gave instructions to teachers for uploading all their TPAD activities for term two using the new TPAD online system.
